I have wagered on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
