I have gambled on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet

Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
