I have played countless of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
